A mid 19th century public house, built in brick with
a gabled tile roof. The lower storey has fluted pilasters
and windows with etched decoration. The building was
locally listed in 1985. |
Another view taken in 2005 before repainting.

The small side window still carries the name of an
old licensee, Samuel Canlett. At the time many
licensees, such as Samuel, had a second occupation. He
conducted both of his businesses from the Swan. He was
not only a publican but also a pork butcher. |
