Lighter Industries
Crown Metal became a limited company in 1952 and specialised in castings in bronze alloys, including:

aluminium bronze, manganese bronze phosphor bronze

Castings were also produced in gunmetal, brass, and aluminium alloys.

 
George Clarke became a limited company in 1946 and produced pressings for the motor industry, radio and television manufacturers, and conveyor parts for builders of mechanical handling equipment.
G. & S. Lees Limited was acquired by Charles (Wednesbury) Limited in the 1940s. In 1961 the company became part of Grampian Holdings of Glasgow.
