The front cover of the 1866 catalogue. The coffee
and pepper mills are described as newly-invented portable stand
and counter products, designed for grocer's shops. The address
is given as Dudley Road, Wolverhampton and the catalogue was
printed by Simpson and Steen, printers by steam power. |
Page 1 shows four counter mills. The first is an
improved counter mill with drawer and the second is an improved
counter pillar mill. The third is a counter coffee mill and the
fourth is a counter coffee mill with a fancy bronzed stand. |

Page 5 shows the newly-invented stand pillar mill,
which is described as being suitable for grocer's shops, with
brass hopper and brass cover over the mill. |
Page 7 shows the large floor stand coffee mill,
no. 4D. The mill was 5 feet 9 inches high and the wheel was 4
feet 5 inches in diameter. It had an anti-friction wheel and was
designed for large shops. |
