The Srodzinsky
Family Thomas Srodzinski sailed into Brixham, Devon from Poland in the early 1800's. In 1839 he was an upholsterer. His son Stanislaus was born in around 1818, and married Patience Adams on December 22nd 1839, at Tormoham Parish Church in Devon. The two witnesses were Bernard Shiels and Ann Williams. Stanislaus like his father was an upholsterer. In 1839 he worked in Torquay and by 1863 had moved to Babbicambe, where he was a cabinet maker. Patience's Father was a sailor.
Stanislaus and Patience had a son, William, in 1842. He married Elizabeth Bellamy at Mary Church in Devon on January 11th 1863. The two witnesses at the ceremony were Henry Srodzinski and Selena Hunt. Elizabeth was a laundress and her father William was a labourer. William and Elizabeth Srodzinsky moved to Wolverhampton, and were living at 4 Temple Street when their son George Edwin Deliforce was born on the 23rd January 1880. William was a French Polisher. Their address in the 1891 census is given as Paradise Street. George married Emily Law and in 1905 their son, Henry Stanislous was born. They lived at 12 Brick kiln Croft. George was a cyclefitter. Henry's son Graham married Christine Parrock.
