Mount Bethel AMEZ Church, St. George's Parade

The copings and upper window dressings are in pale buff terracotta;  some of the white painted parts are also terracotta.

The old Salvation Army Hall seems to date from the 1890s/1900s (when the street it is on would have been known as Cleveland Street).  It's red brick and buff terracotta tends to be a bit overwhelmed by the nearby Central Library.  There re-development of this quarter of town should leave this nice little building unscathed.
