Listing: middle or late C18 with early C19 alterations. The
fenestration comprises an interesting example of early Gothic Revival.
Comment: This interesting house is thought to be divided into flats.
It always looks very nicely maintained. We will get a better photo one day which
will better show that the house is very tall and only one bay wide. It also
faces in a somewhat unexpected direction, being sideways to the line of the
road. Some more research on this building would be welcome: who built, it, when
and why; when were those excellent Gothic windows put in?
