Comment:  Large Victorian villa of c.1880 originally called Laurel Villa. Red brick, stucco dressings and a hipped, low pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves. Symmetrical façade of 3 bays with a central projecting porch and corner pilasters. Windows have consoled lintels and sash windows although some glazing bars are missing. The house has been extended at least twice although most is in keeping. A small coach house / stable is included for group value.
