Listing: Terrace of six houses, now offices. 1840s. Good example of a
terrace of the period, largely unaltered. Locally Listed, approved March 2000.
Comment: the origins of this pretty and high quality terrace
seem to be unknown. But they are now part of Banks' brewery. Whilst
there has been no suggestion, yet, that the other brewery buildings be
listed, much of the local population is strongly in favour of preserving
the company itself, which produces traditional, regional, prize-winning
beverages, which have been consistently highly rated by CAMRA.
