Listing: Inter-war vicarage to St. Chad's
church. Third building in this complex. See also Church of

Comment: The building stands out like a sore
thumb in a network of small streets of terraced artisans dwellings.
Clearly the vicar was not expected to live like his parishioners but
more like the lord of the manor. The style of the building bears
no relationship at all to the church and parish hall which it stands
next to.
