Comment: Not to be confused with Aldersley Junction Bridge. Come to
that, you also ought not to confuse Aldersley Junction (which is the junction
between the BCN and the Staffs & Worcs) with Autherley Junction (which is the
junction between the Staffs & Worcs and the Shroppie Cut). The fact that they
are all within a mile of each other does not help. And what makes it worse is
that when these canals were built both names were used, interchangeably, for
both junctions.
