Listing: Office. c.1810
Comment: This charming building stands out in an area that was almost
exclusively full of warehouses and factories, associated with the nearby canal. It currently stands at the entrance to the yard of the old
Cheese and Butter Warehouse, which is early 19th century. Union Wharf stood
at the end of Union Mill Street, where there were three wharf manager’s houses,
numbers 16a and 16b, and a third that was demolished after the Union Mill fire
in 1989.
