This fine example of a
Chromographic sign is courtesy of Martin Bell, whose
grandfather saved the sign in the 1930s, when it was
mounted on a warehouse wall
close to the
exit from Hull's first Dock. The Damage is believed to be from
the German air raids in the early 1940s. |
