An Exceptional Undertaking
The Story of the Jennings Family Business
by Bev
Parker |
|
In the mid 1930's Frederick and George's sons; George (Jnr), John and Harold
joined the business, and the first centenary was celebrated in 1948.
Facilities were improved further with the construction of St. James' House,
which was and still is amongst the finest of the funeral homes in the
country. It contained 3 individual chapels of rest where people close to the
deceased could spend time in quiet reflection. |
