Appendix 6.  Worralls’ Dairy in Prospect Place, Beards Street - the Back Story

Prospect Place, now nos. 18 & 19 Midland road, still with wide gate.

This fine preserved dairy building built around 1904 was near to demolition in the 1960s when Midland Road was driven through and the traffic island built.

Whilst Prospect Place was preserved, the house next door, Providence House, was ultimately demolished.
