Photographs of Darlaston from the 1960s and 1970s Darlaston changed dramatically in the 1970s and has continued to do so ever since. This was a time when the old Victorian town was about to disappear along with so many familiar landmarks. some parts of the town today bear little resemblance to their Victorian counterpart and have lost their originality. Some of the photographs recapture parts of the town that are long gone and will hopefully rekindle memories of the Darlaston of old.
